My name is George Arunothayam
I am doing social welfare activities by joining hands with EduCare. At the age of 4, I was sent to a children’s home since my parents were not able to afford to take care of me and my education. As my life went on there studying I failed in class IX . Even after I failed the same organization offered me a non formal training and moulded me as a qualified wireman.
After that I got a good position and I started to work and take care of my family and it’s needs. Till the age of 19, I did not get the chance to see my parents due to the poverty condition of my family. After that when I started to earn. I had the chance to take care of my father and mother and stayed with them happily as the days went on like this . My heart was burdened whenever I see children that were not able to study due to their poverty. At that point I used to think when I was in the same condition a certain organization took care of me.
