My name is George Arunothayam. I was born in a very poor family. My parents were unable to provide basic needs for the family members. So I was sent to a children’s home when I was 4 years old. Though I was given food, shelter, and clothes, I missed the care and warmth of my family. When I was 14yrs old I failed in 9th STD and I thought that everything has got over in my life. It was the institution named *Intermission* who helped me to reach another level of my life. I was given a golden opportunity to pursue ITI. I successfully completed the course with assistance of the Intermission and they also gave me a platform to take up non-formal training. With that experience, I started to work as a wireman .I had to support my family financially through my rigorous work at the age of 16.
I was able to support my family financially and I am still so thankful to the Intermission institution for the transformation they created in my life. I could relate the inner feelings of the parents, who could not meet their needs and children who missed their family in search of food and future.
Since I have faced all those troubles in my life. I am now determined enthusiastically and ready to serve the deserving children who need support for Education and Care in their lives. Yes! I am in a position to help the poor and needy. So I am delighted to be part of Edu-Care to help children who need education and leadership assistance. It’s my pleasure to serve children with an esteemed institution Edu-Care who help poor children achieving their dreams. It’s my honour to associate with Edu-Care who is in the business of Building Leaders of Tomorrow for Transforming Communities.
